Why Become a Member?

Membership in the local church is essential to the life of a Christian. The church is the means by which God advances His Kingdom here on earth. Through Evangelism (telling others about Jesus), Discipleship (learning what it means to be a Christian and living it out) and Service (giving of your tithes, time and talents to help others) the local church creates change in the community where it resides.

It is the vision of Friendship to be an Evangelizing, Discipling and Serving body of believers, and becoming a member commits you to that vision. Membership brings with it community and fellowship with other Believers, but it also brings with it investment and accountability on the part of the member.
