Hermeneutics

Hermeneutics is the method of interpreting the meaning of text or Scriptures. Over the centuries many Christians have abused the Bible by their “proof-texting:” Using the Bible like a telephone book of text they cite by chapter and verse to prove their viewpoint. This approach can and has led to many distortions and errors. 

This 12-week course will help participants learn how to accurately interpret God’s Word and develop a sound hermeneutical system.
